HENRY OR HELEN THE HIPPO
CANDICE OR CURTIS

INTRO:
Establish a relationship between the two characters where Candice saves Henry from a pile of opioids. (Candice saves the day)
C. Henry, STOP!
H. Oh hey! whats up,  Candice.
C. Henry I told you to stay away from those.
H. Oh those. What are those…
C. Those! Henry! Those are opioids.
- Those are dangerous.
H. Well, Candice what are they.

HISTORY:

C. Let’s begin from the start.
H. Ok.
C. Opioids were first used for pain now people are abusing them.  
             and, now there is a big opioid problem.

EFFECTS : That is because of how the drug interacts with your brain. *cue magic school bus exposition*
H: Candice we are in the brain oh my goodness!
C: yep so let's start our exploration : explains the addiction process in 3 bullets

LIFE HIGH:

H: Well how do I stay out of danger then? This stuff is pretty scary.
C: oh you goofball, there are so many ways and I bet you are doing a few of them now.
H: no way *stares blankly*
C: yes way, you can do sports or maybe express your creativity through art or music [in background: Henry doing activities of life highs], but one of the most important ones is having a healthy social circle, with friends and family who care about your health!
H: wait is that it? I have other questions for you!

Website Wireframes and Video Story Boards

The website wireframes are layouts that are meant to act as guides when we are building the website. The story boards are images that illustrate how we imagine the video playing out. The images are not finalized and are more like computer sketches. 

Initial Research and Data Collection

To understand how opioids affect different age groups, we conducted research before we started designing. The images above show a map of how and why individuals are affected by opioids as well as a key of some main focus points of our research. Children 0 - 5: This age group of children are most affected by opioids. Children in this age group come into contact with opioids through secondary exposure. For example, breastfeeding, skin to skin contact, or mothers who consume opioids during pregnancy. Children who are exposed to opioids in this age group are often put into foster care. Toddlers and slightly older children are often taken to the emergency room for consuming opioids that aren't properly locked away. Children 8 - 12: Children in this age group are least affected because they are too old to accidentally consume opioids and do not experience secondary exposure.
